Clay soil across the Grand Strand, Horry County, Brunswick County, and the inland areas behaves nothing like coastal sand. It holds water instead of draining through, swells after storms, and shifts under structures when the ground isn’t prepped correctly. New builds settle as fill compacts, which changes drainage patterns and creates problems that weren’t visible at first.

We started this company to handle site work that accounts for how our soil actually behaves: grading that moves water where it needs to go, pads that stay stable when the ground shifts, and drainage systems built to work with heavy rain and soil conditions common across the Grand Strand and inland areas.

Meet The Owner: Chadwick Rogers

I started running equipment on my family’s farm as a kid, then spent 20 years in hospitality managing massive operations at Topgolf. When a local operator was retiring and selling his equipment, I jumped on it – this was my chance to get back to the work I actually wanted to be doing.

I’m building Crescent Coast for my two young kids, something they can grow into if they want it. What makes us different is simple: I run the equipment on every job, I answer when you call, and I come back after the work’s done to make sure it’s holding up. That’s how I ran operations in hospitality, and that’s how I run this business.
